Lose Weight the Fairy Tale Way!

I bet you’re intrigued by the title to this article, that’s why you’re reading this. Welcome then, I’m glad to be of service to you!

Dieting can sometimes be very frustrating. Most often, it does not lead us anywhere. We go hungry, depriving ourselves of the things we love to eat.

I hope you know that there is a better way of doing things, especially in dieting.

Here’s one:

“Eat breakfast like a king, eat lunch like a prince, and eat dinner like a pauper”.

There’s the Fairy Tale: King, Prince, and Pauper!

 

The point is simple:

First, eat a lot during breakfast – so you’ll have the energy to work throughout the day. It has been said that breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

Second, eat moderately during lunch. If you eat a lot, you’ll feel heavy and you’ll feel sleepy most of the time.

Third and last, eat less during dinner, preferably vegetables and fruit!

Proponents to this diet program believe that if you eat too much and you don’t burn it, it turns into fat. This is especially true at night because when you sleep, you don’t burn calories because there is no activity on your part.

Some people may argue with this – and of course, they may. Questions like: “what if I eat a lot at dinner time but then I go to the gym to burn it off?” …

The point here is this: do whatever works for you.

Always remember though the two (2) constants in dieting and weight loss:

1) eat the right foods, and

2) exercise regularly.

Portioning Food and Losing Weight

A good way to stay on course in achieving and maintaining your desired weight is to portion or divide any food you have into small serving pieces. This is true whether you’re eating chips, cookies, bread, pastries, pasta, and most especially desserts.

Do all the portioning prior to eating them. It will even be much better if you portion your food the moment you come home from the grocery store.

When you sort out your food, portion them into individual serving pieces or sizes and then store them in individual food bags or containers.

Remember: just one (1) serving size each pack or container. This is very important so you will be able to track the volume or quantity of your food consumption. Every time you go to the ref, or the cupboard or pantry, just get one pack or serving.

And always remember never to eat more than one serving per meal.

When you are able to stick to this, loosing and maintaining weight is not going to be difficult. If this practice succeeds, it simply means you have excellent self control because you’re able to manage your self!
